Uhhh, this was a free-choice homework assignment for an art class, completed on 11/11/2008. coincidentally just in time for launch of Mirror's Edge.
Yes, this piece was inspired by that game also. Took a while to complete because i never plan things out when drawing something. I always go with the flow and draw on the fly.
And uh...i couldnt find the proper category for this. I couldnt locate a city-scape or anything so if anyone could possibly let me know where this piece should go, that would be appreciated.
by the way, The lighting in my room made this pic come out funky. The sign on that building with that satellite says the title of one of my songs but it cant really be made out. The second tallest building in the distant city to the right has a logo on it saying "LOL"...but again, cant be seen properly. You'd be able to see the drawing entirely if it were seen in person, but i guess for now this is as far as it gets.
My only little nitpick here is the spacing between the windows of the building in the front center and the one with the satellite on it, unless that building has a convex building, which if it was you did a really good job on it.
And you know... this does look a lot like Mirror's Edge. It's all clean and crisp.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
