Here's a homework project from my adv. design class...
Goal: Draw a picture of someone or something using WORDS to simulate value instead of linework. This is my typographical rendering of the latest Nissan GTR in motion. Noticable words are in the speedlines, which say "vroooooom" or "zoooooom." My signature is on the bottom right. In the grill and the windows, I threw in a bunch of names of my buddies and family, as well as sentence fragments and other words. The brighter part of the grill contains Electronics brands such as "Vizio", "Panasonic", "LG", "Samsung", etc. The rims contain "lol", while the spaces in between the rims are titles of tv shows i was watching during the time of work. Somewhere in there are a bunch of titles of songs i was listening to on my ipod as well. The reference picture is pages 42 and 43 of the January 2009 (Vol. 23, No. 10) AUTOMOBILE Magazine. "Automobile of the year." |
